PinPotha is provided “as is”. You own your content. Don’t misuse the app. Some features use cloud services to sync and store your data. We may update features and these terms over time.

1) About PinPotha

PinPotha (පින් පොත) is a digital merit book to record Pinkams (meritorious deeds). The traditional “Pin Potha” practice is used to keep a record of wholesome deeds.

2) Eligibility and accounts

You may use the app if you can legally accept these Terms in your country. If you are using it on behalf of a child, you confirm you are a parent/guardian and consent to the use.

To sync data across devices, you may sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it.

3) Your content

You retain ownership of the Pinkams, notes, and images you add (“User Content”).
You are responsible for what you upload and store in the app.
You grant us a limited license to host/process your content only to operate the app (e.g., syncing/backups if enabled).

4) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the app for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities.
Attempt to access other users’ data or break security.
Upload malware or content that violates others’ rights.

5) Free service & changes

The app is currently offered free of charge. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we introduce paid features later, they will be optional and clearly communicated.

6) Notifications

PinPotha can schedule local reminders based on the targets you set. You can control notification permissions in your device settings.

7) Disclaimers

The app is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that the app will be error-free.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinPotha and its developers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill.

9) Termination

You may stop using the app at any time and delete your account in-app. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

10) Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11) Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
